DUBAI STUDENT VISA SERVICES
Avni Overseas offer Dubai student visa services to students. There are so many colleges and universities offer professional courses on under graduate to doctorate level. Each universities and colleges have their own admission criteria, infrastructure and facilities.
UAE has few government universities and colleges but here admission is restricted to locals only. Apart from this, there are number of private international universities and colleges offer wide range of courses to all.
In Dubai, colleges and universities arrange visa to their students.
Prior to releasing the visa all procedures need to be completed as per the institution of higher education chosen in Dubai.
STUDENT VISAS FORMALITIES
Students appearing a tertiary level institute, college or university:Educator-sponsored Dubai study visa
Full-time International students can be sponsored by their college or university, if they are eligible. It will allow them to obtain a UAE/Dubai student visa for the entire duration of their course.
Full-time international students can be sponsored by the college or institute. However, not all institutions are offering this services, please check with our international counsellors.
According to UAE law student Visa are normally valid only for 1 year at a time. However, it is renewable.
DOCUMENTS NEEDED FOR STUDENTS VISA DUBAI:
Passport which must have minimum 6 months of validity.
Copies of passport (about 4).
Photographs 12 copies
Upon arrival, passport copies with entry visa to the UAE (about 3 copies)
Acceptance letter from UAE tertiary college (offer letter)
Bank statement which shows evidence of funds
Tenancy agreement from landlord (or letter from college if staying in their halls of residence)
Receipt of tuition fees for the present study year of the course
Visa fees receipt for the present study year of the course
Master Degree student required their attested copy of Bachelor degree.
Some countries students ( Check embassy website) will undergo a security check to avoid any threat to UAE security.
Medical test which included a blood test and chest X-ray at an authorized UAE/Dubai medical center (allow AED 350-500) will normally be required to check for HIV (AIDS), Hepatitis B and C, Tuberculosis (TB), Leprosy, and Syphilis. If results come positive for any of those conditions, the person is deported, except for syphilis which is treated, but this may change, check with UAE immigration department and UAE Ministry of Health or with our Visa team.
STUDENT VISA FEES for UAE:
Student Visa Fees vary for a 1 year UAE visa between colleges and institutions. Some institutions may require a refundable visa deposit. There might also be differences in fees between different emirates.
There are also differences depending on if the university is located in a UAE education free zone such as Dubai Academic City or Knowledge Village, or not. Please check with Avni Overseas for updated information.
VALIDITY OF UAE VISA
In student visa, it is not possible to stay out of UAE for more than 6 months. In this situation, UAE student visa can become invalid.
Usually the sponsor ( College or university) will report the visa holder to the immigration authorities.
Visa processing time is approx. 2-5 weeks and it is depend on the correct documents.
Express visas processing time is 1-3 weeks.
Visa cancellation in general takes 1-3 weeks, express cancellation takes 1-2 weeks.
